And together, both sides of the bar create something special.\n Newly created position overseeing facilities management in SA + WA\nDeliver maintenance, compliance & asset management for a portfolio of hotel and retail venues\nBased in Adelaide with some travel across SA + WA\nAs a Facilities Manager, you’ll deliver operational maintenance, compliance, and asset management across a state portfolio of hotel and retail venues.\nYou will drive operational uptime for venue teams, manage trade contractors, oversee capital works, and maximise the efficiency of our internal Facilities Management System.\nSound good? Read on.\nHere is a taster of what you can expect in this role:\nOperations & Asset Management:\nOversee preventative and reactive maintenance across all hotel sites to minimise venue downtime. \nConduct regular physical site inspections across the hotel locations to audit asset conditions, evaluate repair quality, identify hazards, and assist venue teams with complex facilities issues. \nInternal FMS Management:\nDrive compliance, ticket resolution, work order routing, and SLA tracking using our internal facilities management system. \nTrain venue teams to log jobs effectively.\nContractor & Vendor Oversight:\nManage preferred trade vendors, ensure competitive pricing ,PPM compliance, review job completion quality, and hold suppliers to strict SLAs.\nBudget & Capex/Opex Control:\nMonitor maintenance expenditure, review contractor invoices against system approvals, and assist with annual maintenance budgets and capex and dilapidation projects.\nCompliance & Safety:\nEnsure all venues meet state WHS regulations, fire safety standards, building codes, and essential safety measures.\nStakeholder Engagement:\nAct as the primary escalation point for Venue Managers and venue staff, delivering regular status updates and site audit reviews.\n Now let’s talk about you:\n5+ years Facilities Management experience and/or 10 years operational experience in hotels.\nDemonstrated experience in management of maintenance activities and contractor management.\nStrong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills.\nAble to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities.\nKnowledge and experience in the use of Integrated Asset Management Systems (IAMS).\nThe benefits are good too!\nAn exclusive discount card for our ALH Hotels pubs & accommodation, BWS, Dan Murphy’s and other Endeavour Group brands.
