And together, both sides of the bar create something special.\n Everyone’s welcome, come as you are\nDeliver demand-based workforce planning across Australia's largest hospitality network\nSydney or Melbourne based\nAs the Senior Data Analyst - Workforce Planning, you'll be a core member of our Business Excellence (BEX) team and operational transformation, providing analytical firepower to move our pub operations toward predictive, demand-driven workforce planning and broader workforce planning analysis.\nYou will be critical in delivering smarter, demand-based Workforce Planning, creating the models that link demand to optimised staffing, and will own data-analytics for Advanced Workforce Planning Discovery, ensuring we build the right capabilities and tooling for advanced enterprise rostering.\nYour work will directly enable our +350 Venue Manager to schedule the 'right team at the right time,' balancing sales maximisation and cost-efficiency - with team and guest experience.\nSound good? Read on.\nHere is a taster of what you can expect in this role:\nProductivity Opportunity Ideation\nPerform deep-dive diagnostics on historic sales and labour performance to identify and quantify efficiency gaps through advanced statistical analysis of labour productivity across suitable venue segmentation.\nExecute independent data exploration to uncover untapped optimisation opportunities beyond standard reporting; proactively partner with BEX team members to turn hypotheses into actionable business cases.\nSupport Development of Demand-based Workforce Planning\nBuild and maintain venue segmentation frameworks and labour productivity benchmarks. Develop 'by driver' demand-forecasting models that translate complex sales drivers into granular required labour hours.\nProvide Analytical Support for Advanced Workforce Planning Tooling Discovery\nPlay a key supporting role in the discovery phase for advanced workforce planning tooling, working in close collaboration with the dedicated Project Team and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).\nAssist with necessary labour modelling and analysis, and provide data access to inform the development of suggestions for future-state workforce planning solutions.\nInsight Communication\nTranslate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable 'so-what' insights for Publicans and Area Managers, fostering a culture of data-led decision-making.\nVisibility & Tracking\nSupport Finance in estimating and tracking benefit metrics post-implementation (economic and process) to report progress to executive sponsors and ensure sustainable value capture.\n Now let’s talk about you:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative field.\nHave a minimum of 5 years hands on experience.\nExperience in workforce management and familiarity with enterprise scheduling software (e.g., UKG), ideally related to demand-based rostering and/or labour models.\nProficiency in Cloud platforms (GCP, DBT), strong SQL skills and data visualisation (Tableau).\nExperience in building predictive forecasting models and applying advanced analytics (incl.
