Come build that future with us.\nWhat you’ll do\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on Quality Engineering to drive the reliability, scalability, and security of Endor Labs’ products. This role goes beyond traditional QA - you will own quality end-to-end, combining deep technical expertise in automation with a strong understanding of real-world customer use cases.\nYou will play a key role in designing robust test strategies, building scalable automation frameworks, and integrating quality checks into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate brings a security-first mindset, proactively identifies risks, and leverages modern AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity, debugging, and test coverage. This position requires both independent execution and strong collaboration within a fast-paced, high-impact engineering environment.\nOwn and drive end-to-end quality strategy for product features, from design to release.\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites.\nPerform deep manual and exploratory testing for complex security use cases.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable releases.\nCollaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to define acceptance criteria and quality benchmarks.\nIdentify, debug, and root-cause complex issues using tools like logs, metrics, and observability platforms.\nContribute to release processes, including build validation, regression cycles, and production readiness\nLeverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to improve development velocity, debugging, and test generation.\nContinuously improve testing practices, frameworks, and tooling to increase efficiency and coverage.\nAdvocate for shift-left testing and quality ownership across teams.\nWhat we're looking for\n5 to 8 years of experience in software engineering or QA, with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.\nProficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Go.\nHands-on experience building or working with test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Pytest).\nStrong understanding of CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and modern release workflows.\nExperience with version control (Git) and build/package tools like Maven, npm, or pip.\nSolid understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).\nExperience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools like Splunk, Kibana, or similar log/observability platforms.\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.\nUnderstanding of modern software delivery pipelines and release processes.\nExperience working in or strong interest in the security/cybersecurity domain.\nDemonstrated ability
