The position offers the opportunity to drive innovation and operational excellence in a global manufacturing environment.\nWhat is the role about?\nWe are looking for a Industrial Engineer - pH and Glass Production to join our Group and assist in driving and supporting engineering initiatives focused on product manufacturing and the seamless transfer of production from Germany to the production facility in Anaheim. This role ensures the successful implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The position requires hands-on technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments and international locations.\nWhich tasks will you perform?\nYou will:\nPlan, organize, and manage engineering projects for pH sensor and glass production, including technology and process transfers from Germany to the Anaheim plant.\nLead process implementation and improvement initiatives for glass cracking, glass blowing, and assembly operations, ensuring quality and yield targets are met.\nOwn and drive yield improvement actions and process changes based on statistical process control (SPC) data analysis.\nCoordinate and support the implementation of new products and maintain existing product lines, including item masters, bills of materials, and bills of operations using SAP ERP and MES software.\nEvaluate and implement new equipment and process technologies; assess vendor proposals for equipment purchases and design efficient layouts for implementation.\nDevelop, document, and revise production processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.\nDesign workstations, fixtures, and tools using CAD software to optimize production efficiency and safety.\nTrain production staff on new and revised processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance with quality standards.\nAnalyze and report on production data, providing actionable insights to management and cross-functional teams.\nInterface with department managers, leads, and international teams to support product transfers, process improvements, and data management activities.\nCommunicate regularly with global engineering and master data teams to align on production needs and best practices.\nWhat do we expect from you? \nYou:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certification is a plus\nMinimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing, project management, and technical process development, including leadership responsibilities.\nHands-on experience in glass product manufacturing and assembly processes is highly preferred.\nKnowledge or experience with pH and/or electrochemistry is a plus.\nDemonstrated ability to lead projects, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate with international teams.\nSelf-starter with the ability to define engineering tasks, quickly learn new processes, and work independently.\nWillingness to travel internationally as needed.\nWhat can you expect from us?\nFamily-owned, highly committed global company with a sustainable vision of the future. \nLifelong learning encouraged by versatile training, tuition reimbursement, success coaching, and further education opportunities. \nComprehensive benefit package (to include medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) savings with company match. \nCompensation is competitive and includes bonus opportunities. \nWork-life balance encouraged through our 10 company-paid holidays, paid time off, paid parental leave, employee assistance programs (financial, mental, and physical health and wellbeing), and employee discounts. \nEmployees work in a safety-first, climate controlled, clean manufacturing facility with utilization of Lean practices and ergonomic workstations to enhance productivity and comfort. \nThe listed salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 annually, but the actual package offered may vary depending on different factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
