In this customer-facing role, you will provide reliable technical services for our process instrumentation and support customers across an extensive service area. The position can be based in Surabaya, Jakarta, or Medan, depending on your preferred location.\nWhat is the role about?\nDo you enjoy solving technical challenges directly at customer sites? Are you confident working independently while maintaining close communication with customers and colleagues? Would you like to develop your expertise in process instrumentation while helping customers improve the reliability of their operations?\nAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be an important technical partner for our customers throughout the lifecycle of their Endress+Hauser instruments. Beyond resolving immediate technical issues, you will seek to understand their operational needs, identify the root causes of recurring problems, and recommend solutions that create lasting customer value.\nWhich tasks will you perform?\nYou will:\nDeliver post-sale services at customer sites, including on-site installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Endress+Hauser instruments\nTake ownership of customer issues through to resolution and coordinate effective escalation when additional technical support is required\nCarry out structured root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to resolve technical issues and help prevent recurring instrument failures\nAdvise customers on instrument operation, configuration, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and service improvements that enhance performance and reliability\nProvide technical guidance and practical training to customer employees on the correct and safe operation and maintenance of our instruments\nUse digital service platforms and business systems to manage, document, track, and close service activities accurately and on time\nIdentify relevant service, upgrade, and improvement opportunities that create sustainable customer value and contribute to the development of our service business\nCollaborate closely with customers, internal technical teams, and other stakeholders to resolve service requests and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction\nWhat do we expect from you?\nYou:\nHold a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline\nBring practical experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning, or troubleshooting, preferably involving process instrumentation, industrial automation, or comparable technologies\nHave hands-on knowledge of process instrumentation and are comfortable working with technical equipment in industrial environments\nHave knowledge of IT applications, MS Office (proficient user in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SFDC, SAP)\nHave a good notion in English (writing and speaking)\nCommunicate confidently with customers, approach problems systematically, and can work both independently and collaboratively\nAre proactive, service-oriented, and willing to travel regularly throughout the assigned service area\nWhat can you expect from us?\nThe stability and long-term perspective of a successful international family-owned company\nA collaborative and people-focused culture where your ideas and expertise can make a real impact\nOpportunities for professional and personal development through a wide range of training and learning programs\nClose collaboration with experts and colleagues across our global Endress+Hauser network\nThe flexibility and support needed to maintain a healthy work-life balance\nThe opportunity to contribute to meaningful solutions that help customers operate more efficiently, safely, and sustainably\nHow do you apply?\nTo apply, we kindly ask you to upload your documents on our career page.
