We are looking for an Project Engineer to join the Projects Department within our Sydney operations. Endress+Hauser Australia is made up of over 130 dedicated employees across the country, with our national office located in Sydney, Australia.

As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate technical project delivery from handover through to testing and close-out. Working with the Project Manager, you will oversee engineering deliverables and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and customers to ensure projects meet quality, compliance, schedule and budget requirements.
Which tasks will you perform?
- Manage engineered projects from concept through to testing, handover and close-out
- Review customer specifications, contracts, standards, drawings and technical requirements
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables, technical evaluations and vendor documentation
- Coordinate project schedules, engineering resources, milestones and progress reporting
- Identify and manage technical risks, project interfaces, issues and scope changes
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, customers, suppliers and external vendors
- Maintain accurate project documentation, registers and revision controls
- Ensure project activities comply with relevant procedures, legislation and industry standards.
- Support project governance, quality, safety, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement
What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Chemical, Process or another relevant engineering discipline; a postgraduate qualification would be advantageous
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in an engineering, project-engineering or engineered-project environment, preferably involving process instrumentation, automation or packaged engineered solutions
- Registration or eligibility for professional engineering registration or chartered status would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of project-management methodologies, schedule control, engineering-hour control and project governance
- Familiarity with applicable legislation, industry standards and regulations relevant to process instrumentation and engineered solutions
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and influence stakeholders without direct line-management authority
- Strong written communication, technical reporting, stakeholder-management and professional presentation skills
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, workplace health and safety, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement
- Highly proficient knowledge in all MS Office applications, C-360 (Salesforce CRM), SAP and Planview.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks to completion.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Based in NSW, preferably in the Sydney area
