The Project Manager - MIV position requires an experienced project manager comfortable managing large and complex project ecosystems including internal and external teams along with Endress+Hauser production centers and 3rd party vendors. This includes striving for execution of client projects with an on-time and within/under budget target.\nWhich tasks will you perform?\nServe as the project lead for Endress+Hauser covering products and value-added services around a client’s instrumentation and valve list through a project lifecycle. Act as the client’s trusted partner and be single point of contact through the project life cycle, connecting the customer with the subject matter experts within Endress+Hauser, our partners and suppliers. \nAdherence to harmonized Professional Project Execution practices (PMI, Agile, E+H Standard 201) to ensure utmost client satisfaction as well as predictable, reliable results. \nLeverage industry and project management experience to deliver a unique and complex customer solution. \nEmploy disciplined scope management and a commitment to change logs, change management practices, and securing of change orders if/when scope changes occur. Identification and maintenance of a risk register is also expected to identify and feed change and risk mitigation. \nProject time management including proactive communication to internal and external stakeholders. \nCommitment to schedule optimization and risk management/mitigation internally and externally. \nResource allocation and time management with commitment to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. \nPlan, coordinate, and lead internal steering meetings with the E+H organization and our Rep Partners on the project’s progress, risks, revenue, and costs. \nInvolvement in mentorship initiatives to support the development of colleagues as expertise in the role grows. \nWhat do we expect from you?\nYou will have (required):\nBachelor’s degree in any field of study, technical field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience in project management, complex project execution, or related field (or 4+ years relevant experience). \nTravel required: occasional for customer kick off meetings and visits to Greenwood, IN (US headquarters), Pearland, TX or other E+H/Rep Partner offices. (~5% travel). \nYou may have (preferred):\nFamiliarity with heavy industrial process applications with exposure to instrumentation and valves. \nExperience working with Engineering and Procurement Companies (EPC) \nUnderstanding of capital expenditure (CapEx) project lifecycles, barriers, and standards of operation for large client projects (total installation cost $500MM+) \nProject management certifications (PMP, 6-sigma, Agile, etc.) \nExcellent ability to leverage reports and analyze data to drive results. \nKnowledge of commercial related issues such as pricing, terms, and conditions. \nAbility and agility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. \nAbility to pull together and manage a cross-functional team to cover service deliverables including engineering, reporting, procurement, warehousing, and inspection as well as remove barriers from the team to accomplish their tasks. \nAbility to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative. \nPrioritizes the customer perspective in business decisions by actively seeking to understand customer needs and problems, initiating solutions based on this understanding, and implementing feedback to enhance the overall experience and prevent future issues. \nDemonstrates moral courage by standing up for their beliefs, taking justifiable risks, addressing contradictions, and knowing when to say no. \nDemonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit.
