The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, working independently, and coordinating with others to keep repairs moving efficiently.\nWhich tasks will you perform?\nYou will:\nCoordinate material returns with direct customers, sales centers, and/or other E+H LA locations; approve or reject requests; and generate Return Authorizations.\nLog returned products and validate the accompanying documentation and materials.\nClarify and confirm, or reject, product data and work requests with sales centers, direct customers, other departments and/or other E+H LA locations.\nGenerate Repair Orders and/or document product receipt.\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, test, repair, modify, and/or calibrate returned products.\nPrepare reports describing completed or required work and/or issue calibration certificates.\nCalculate costs and pricing using the appropriate tools and procedures, prepare and present cost estimates.\nUpdate records in multiple systems and follow up through completion.\nKeep shelves clean and organized.\nPrioritize, schedule, and coordinate repair activities.\nAttend early or late meetings with other E+H LA locations.\nWhat do we expect from you? \nYou:\nTwo years of experience in a related field involving product testing, calibration, and repair, preferably including RMA processes.\nPrevious experience working with industrial instrumentation.\nPrevious experience in customer service is highly desirable.\nKnowledge of recordkeeping practices and procedures.\nKnowledge of basic process control and industrial instrumentation concepts.\nAbility to diagnose and identify the causes of optical, electronic, or electrochemical malfunctions.\nAbility to read schematic diagrams.\nAbility to use hand tools, specialized equipment, laboratory equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).\nAbility to interpret and follow test procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.\nAbility to operate a personal computer and use Microsoft applications for word processing and spreadsheets, as well as specialized programs and systems.\nAbility to communicate effectively, respectfully and professionally with colleagues and customers in English, both orally and in writing.\nAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment when resolving urgent customer matters, managing time, setting priorities, and scheduling tasks.\nAbility to learn the use of specialized equipment, systems and programs either by traditional training, or by self-training.\nWhat can you expect from us?\n<\nFamily-owned, highly committed global company with a sustainable vision of the future.\nLifelong learning encouraged by versatile training, tuition reimbursement, success coaching, and further education opportunities.\nComprehensive benefit package (to include medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) savings with company match. \nCompensation is competitive and includes bonus opportunities.\nWork-life balance encouraged through our 10 company-paid holidays, paid time off, paid parental leave, employee assistance programs (financial, mental, and physical health and wellbeing), and employee discounts.\nEmployees work in a safety-first, climate controlled, clean manufacturing facility with utilization of Lean practices and ergonomic workstations to enhance productivity and comfort. \nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs.\nMust be able to perform reasonable physical activities such as stand; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; walk; stoop, kneel and crouch, lift and move reasonable loads.\nThe hourly range for this full-time position is $28.00 to $36.00 per hour. The base pay that is offered for this position will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
