Verifies shipped items and maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies the proper shipping of materials, products, or supplies. Perform related functions as needed\nWhich tasks will you perform?\nYou will:\nPrepares products for intermediate packaging.\nInserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.\nBottles finished with pH sensors and related kits. Uses bottling equipment and KCL solutions.\nMust maintain a dry and organized environment when working at bottling station.\nExamine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.\nAccurately and neatly affixes shipping labels on packed cartons.\nMaintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.\nVerifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.\nAssist in inventory cycle counts when needed.\nExpected to accurately read Bills of Materials and Production Routers.\nCompares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills, invoices, orders, or other records.\nDetermines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.\nAssist in materials-receiving functions when needed.\nAssist in warehouse Kaizen events as needed.\nWhat do we expect from you?\nYou:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n2 years of shipping experience.\nReceiving and logistics support tasks and record keeping functions preferred.\nProblem-solving skills and ability to contribute to effective solutions.\nCertification in the handling and storage of hazardous materials and specialized training in materials shipping procedures.\nFlexibility to work overtime, weekends, or additional hours as needed.\nKnowledge of packaging and shipping practices.\nKnowledge of shipping carriers and rate structures.\nKnowledge of shipping software programs.\nKnowledge of hazardous materials management and storage practices.\nKnowledge of record keeping practices and procedures.\nOperate personal computer to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and SAP applications.\nOperate a calculator, facsimile equipment and related office equipment.\nCommunicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.\nWhat can you expect from us?\nFamily-owned, highly committed global company with a sustainable vision of the future.\nLifelong learning encouraged by versatile training, tuition reimbursement, success coaching, and further education opportunities.\nComprehensive benefit package (to include medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) savings with company match. \nCompensation is competitive and includes bonus opportunities.\nWork-life balance encouraged through our 10 company-paid holidays, paid time off, paid parental leave, employee assistance programs (financial, mental, and physical health and wellbeing), and employee discounts.\nEmployees work in a safety-first, climate controlled, clean manufacturing facility with utilization of Lean practices and ergonomic workstations to enhance productivity and comfort.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs.\nThe ability to be on your feet for the duration of the entire shift.\n The listed salary range for this position is $20 to $26 per hour, but the actual package offered may vary depending on different factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
