The ideal candidate will assist with the daily administration, monitoring, and support of network and communication systems while delivering exceptional service to end users and stakeholders.\nWork Arrangement: 100% Onsite in Hampton, VA\nEmployment Type: 6 month option to hire\nBenefits: Full benefits available for the duration of the contract\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with monitoring, maintaining, and supporting wired, wireless, and telecommunications infrastructure.\nTroubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, VoIP, and communication platform issues while escalating complex problems as needed.\nAdminister and support cloud-based communication services, including user provisioning, call routing, voicemail, messaging, and collaboration tools.\nConfigure, maintain, and support network equipment, including switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and related infrastructure.\nInstall, patch, upgrade, and maintain networking and telecommunications hardware and software.\nRespond to service requests and incidents, providing timely issue resolution and status updates to users.\nMaintain network documentation, inventory records, configuration details, and operational procedures.\nCreate and update knowledge base articles, user guides, and technical documentation.\nSupport network upgrades, infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology deployments.\nFollow established cybersecurity, change management, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.\nCollaborate with IT teams to improve network services, communication platforms, and overall user experience.\nRequirements\nAssociate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nUnderstanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and network connectivity concepts.\nExperience or familiarity with network infrastructure components such as switches, routers, and wireless access points.\nKnowledge of VoIP, telecommunications systems, or related communication technologies.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.\nCompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar industry certification.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Windows Server and virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.\nExperience with cloud-based telephony and unified communications platforms, including RingCentral or similar solutions.\nExperience working in enterprise, higher education, healthcare, government, or other large-scale IT environments.\nExperience creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base content.\nPhysical & Working Environment\nStandard office environment with occasional visits to server rooms, network closets, and other technical facilities.\nAbility to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds.\nOccasional evening or weekend work may be required to support maintenance windows, upgrades, or special projects.\nBenefits\nPTO\nHealth Insurance \nVision & Dental \nLife Insurance \n401K Participation & Match \nAbout Us: \nEndurance IT Services provides Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity\nSolutions, Network Infrastructure, and IT Consulting to help\nbusinesses stay secure, connected, and productive.
