This role combines security engineering, incident response, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.\nEmployment Type: Direct Hire\nLocation: Reston, VA\nWork Arrangement: Onsite\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and support enterprise security tools and services across endpoint, cloud, email, network, and identity security domains.\nMonitor security alerts, logs, and telemetry to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement.\nEnsure security platforms remain properly configured, patched, and aligned with established security standards.\nSupport incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident reviews.\nPartner with IT and project teams to integrate security requirements into system designs and technology initiatives.\nAssist with audits, compliance efforts, documentation, policies, standards, and operational runbooks.\nResearch emerging threats and technologies and recommend security enhancements.\nLead or contribute to security projects while providing technical guidance to peers and stakeholders.\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and administering enterprise security solutions. \nStrong expertise in areas such as endpoint security, vulnerability management, cloud security, Microsoft 365 security, encryption, logging, and threat management.\nExperience with incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.\nKnowledge of security controls, standards, compliance frameworks, and audit processes.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nSecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC, Security+, Microsoft Security, or similar credentials.\nExperience with Azure, Microsoft 365, SIEM platforms, network security, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and enterprise security operations.\nExperience working in a regulated or large-scale enterprise IT environment.\nAbout Us: \nEndurance IT Services provides Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity\nSolutions, Network Infrastructure, and IT Consulting to help\nbusinesses stay secure, connected, and productive.
