A person who thrives in a collaborative environment will excel!\nPosition Title: Software Engineer \nLocation: Reston, VA\nWork Arrangement: 100% onsite \nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and support applications and backend services using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Microsoft technologies.\nBuild and support system plugins, extensions, and client-side functionality using JavaScript.\nDevelop and maintain APIs, services, and integrations between internal systems and third-party mortgage, settlement, and financial services platforms.\nPartner with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and engineering peers to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.\nParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.\nTroubleshoot application and integration issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable long-term solutions.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.\nTake ownership of projects and assignments from design through deployment and ongoing support.\nContribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment focused on innovation, quality, accountability, and continuous learning.\nRequirements\n3+ years of professional software development experience building and supporting enterprise applications.\nStrong experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server.\nExperience developing backend applications, APIs, web services, and enterprise system integrations.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or similar technologies, to improve productivity while maintaining strong engineering standards, code quality, and security practices.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred\nExperience within the mortgage, lending, title, settlement, or financial services industry.\nExperience developing, integrating with, or supporting the Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS).\nExperience working with third-party vendor integrations and API-driven architectures.\nFamiliarity with modern software development practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps principles.\nAbout Us: \nEndurance IT Services provides Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity\nSolutions, Network Infrastructure, and IT Consulting to help\nbusinesses stay secure, connected, and productive.
