The Warehouse Operator I will master one of the primary areas of the particular Warehouse: Receiving, Shipping, Yard or Inspection.\nSPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:\nRead customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.\nMove materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.\nOpen bales, crates, and other containers.\nSort and place materials or items in proper locations according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.\nAssemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves or directly onto company/customer trucks or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.\nMark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.\nRecord amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Complete internal forms and documents or reports as instructed.\nPerform stock transfers and inventory counts.\nInspect incoming parts, following QMS procedure and documenting all results\nResponsible for the proper care and maintenance of company equipment assigned to the warehouse area.\nEnsure the protection of company property and all other assets.\nEnsure warehouse areas are clean, accessible, and safe for traffic.\nComply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.\nComply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.\nOther duties as required.\nRequirements\nEHS REQUIREMENTS:\nComplete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals\nFollow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals\nComplete, and actively participate in all the company’s Safety Skills training requirements\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred\nWarehouse and forklift experience preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be able to stand;
