Team members join a culture that values adaptability, operational excellence, and innovation in support of critical national security objectives.\nData Scientist (POTFF II: Data Scientist I)\nLocation: Hurlburt Field/Duke Field, FL\nClearance required: Secret\nSummary\nApplies statistical analysis, data mining and machine learning to human performance, behavioral health and readiness data to produce insights, forecasts and decision-support products for the POTFF enterprise.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze structured and unstructured data using exploratory, statistical and machine-learning techniques.\nQuery, clean and prepare data from HPDMS and other government-approved sources.\nDevelop and validate predictive models for operator readiness, injury risk and program efficacy.\nSupport NLP use cases on clinical or survey text within government-approved tools and datasets only.\nBuild Power BI dashboards and executive reports; automate monthly and quarterly reporting.\nSupport efficacy and ROI analyses of POTFF interventions.\nDocument methods for reproducibility; brief non-technical leadership.\nMaintain DoW IL5, HIPAA and Privacy Act controls.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, data science, operations research, computer science, engineering, epidemiology, etc., or a behavioral science with a quantitative-methods concentration).\nProficiency in Python or R, and SQL.\nWorking knowledge of applied statistics and supervised/unsupervised machine learning.\nVisual analytics experience (Power BI preferred).\nDesired, not required: Databricks/PySpark, NLP/LLM familiarity, Power Platform, Palantir Foundry, human performance or clinical data experience.\nRequired Minimum Experience\nMinimum 1 year applying data science or statistical methods; documented internship, capstone or project work in a bachelor's program satisfies this.\nAdditional Requirements\nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nDocument all encounters in HPDMS per USSOCOM Directive 10-12.\nFor embedded field positions, where the task order requires: meet SOF training physical demands (hiking rough terrain, austere environments, aircraft and watercraft) and lift up to 25 kg.\nMaintain 100% compliance with local mandatory command training.\nEndurion complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements.
