We measure ourselves against the best version of ourselves.\nThe Role\nAs an AI-Native DevOps Engineer, you will build and run the infrastructure behind our satellite software and do it with AI as a core part of your workflow, not an add-on. You will automate provisioning, deployments, and operations on AWS and Kubernetes using Terraform and GitOps, and you will use and build AI-driven tooling that makes our teams faster and our systems more reliable. You will work closely with software development teams to keep our satellite systems secure, scalable, and observable.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform across AWS environments.\nDesign and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI for multiple projects, with GitOps-based deployments to Kubernetes.\nUse AI coding and automation tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar agents) daily to write, review, and debug infrastructure code, pipelines, and scripts.\nBuild and maintain AI-assisted workflows: agents or LLM-based tools that automate operational tasks such as incident triage, log analysis, runbook execution, and pipeline diagnostics.\nIntroduce and govern AI-native practices across the team: prompt and context standards for infrastructure work, review guidelines for AI-generated code, and guardrails for secrets and production access.\nMonitor and optimize cloud resources and performance metrics for reliability and cost-effectiveness.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.\nEvaluate new AI tools and models critically, measuring their impact on delivery speed and system reliability before adopting them.\nWhat We Look For\nMust-have\nStrong proficiency in AWS: designing and maintaining scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.\nSolid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and scaling applications and following GitOps principles.\nExperience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI.\nPractical, daily use of AI tools in engineering work (coding agents, LLM assistants, or AI-powered automation), with a clear view of where they help and where they need human review.\nA focus on automation and on improving system reliability through it.\nNice-to-have\nExperience with Terraform in production environments.\nFamiliarity with MLOps or LLMOps: serving models on Kubernetes, managing GPU workloads, or running evaluation pipelines.\nExperience building internal tools or integrations with LLM APIs (e.g., via the Model Context Protocol).\nObservability experience (metrics, logs, tracing) and an interest in using AI to make it more actionable.\nHow to Stand Out\nYou are open to knowledge-sharing and enjoy raising the level of the team around you.\nYou understand the importance of last-mile delivery: getting work safely into production, not just into a merge request.\nYou are a quick learner, proactive, and a self-starter, especially with new tools.\nYou communicate clearly and have a positive attitude.\nYou are passionate about space.\nWhy EnduroSat\nFast-paced, delivery-focused culture.
