This is a full-time, exempt, on-site position based in our Gardena, CA facility.\nResponsibilities\nLead the Integration team, overseeing subsystem-level and full-vehicle integration builds and functional testing\n\nCollaborate with design teams on manufacturability and integration approach for structures, avionics, and payload subsystems\n\nOwn and coordinate Bill of Materials for integrated assemblies\n\nSupport Responsible Engineers with failure analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations\n\nOptimize integration processes for efficiency, quality, and cost\n\nCreate and maintain integration plans, procedures, and work instructions\n\nWork with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components; review and approve supplier processes\n\nPerform hands-on integration and testing per engineering specifications\n\nParticipate in design reviews, contributing input on integration feasibility and reliability\n\nPartner with quality assurance to establish rigorous quality control processes\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the integration line\n\nMeet production schedules while adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nTrack record leading a high-performing integration team in aerospace or a related field\n\nBachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field\n\n7+ years in manufacturing/integration engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role\n\nExperience working within a quality system such as AS9100 or ISO9001\n\n3+ years managing, mentoring, and developing a team\n\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nStrong understanding of spacecraft integration, electromechanical assembly, and test techniques\n\nCAD experience (e.g., Siemens NX) for design review\n\nExperience authoring integration documentation (SOPs, work orders)\n\nFamiliarity with IPC and related aerospace standards\n\nStrong root-cause problem-solving skills\n\nHands-on integration and test experience across multiple subsystems\n\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing / Six Sigma\n\nAdditional Requirements\nWillingness to work overtime or weekends to support critical milestones\n\nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted\n\nU.S. Export Control Compliance Status\nThe person hired will have access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls, and therefore must be a “U.S. person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62, or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
