At Eneba, our Fraud & Risk Operations team plays a critical role in protecting our marketplace, maintaining user trust, and ensuring secure and fair transactions across our products.\nWe're looking for a Fraud Analyst to take ownership of fraud detection and prevention for one of our products. You'll identify suspicious patterns, investigate emerging risks, develop effective countermeasures, and continuously improve our fraud prevention processes.\nIf you're analytical, proactive, and enjoy solving complex problems while making a measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you.\nResponsibilities\nTake full ownership of fraud detection and prevention for one of Eneba's products, from identifying risks to implementing solutions.\n\nAnalyze large datasets to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging attack vectors.\n\nDesign, implement, and continuously optimize dynamic fraud detection rules that scale with the business.\n\nMonitor and improve false positive rates, balancing effective fraud prevention with conversion and customer experience.\n\nAnalyze conversion, rejection, and verification drop-off rates to identify opportunities for improvement.\n\nDevelop and maintain fraud detection logic, alerts, and workflows that support Fraud Specialists in their daily operations.\n\nCollaborate with Product, Commercial, Data, and Engineering teams to strengthen fraud prevention and verification processes.\n\nTrack fraud trends and key risk indicators, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.\n\nTake accountability for decisions and outcomes, continuously refining fraud prevention strategies based on results.\n\nRequirements\nProven experience in fraud analysis, payments risk, or risk management, with clear ownership over outcomes.\n\nExperience writing and monitoring dynamic fraud risk rules.\n\nEffective communication skills, able to explain complex topics in simple words adjusted for different stakeholder groups.\n\nSolid understanding of fraud patterns, user behavior, and KRIs.\n\nConfidence in making data-backed decisions and owning the impact of those decisions.\n\nStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.\n\nFull professional proficiency in English.\n\nPreferred, but not required\nExperience working with SQL to analyze datasets and investigate fraud patterns.\n\nPrevious experience in fintech, payment processing, marketplaces, or high-growth product companies.\n\nFamiliarity with analytics platforms such as Databricks and Mixpanel.\n\nExperience with Know Your Customer (KYC) verification processes.\n\nExperience working in international, multi-market environments.\n\nWhat it's like to work at Eneba\nMake an impact by helping scale a unique product and contribute to a growing global gaming marketplace.\n\nOpportunity to participate in Eneba's Stock Options program, subject to eligibility.\n\nAccess to applicable performance-based bonuses and referral programs.\n\nBenefit from a personal learning budget, regular feedback, and clearly defined development and progression opportunities.\n\nTake advantage of paid volunteering opportunities, where eligible.\n\nEnjoy additional paid time off, where included in your engagement terms.\n\nReady to join us?\nWe'd love to learn more about you!
