At Eneba, our Fraud & Risk Operations team plays a critical role in protecting our marketplace, maintaining user trust, and ensuring secure and fair transactions across our products.\nWe're looking for a Fraud Specialist to help protect our marketplace by monitoring suspicious activity, investigating potential fraud, and ensuring timely resolution of fraud-related cases. You'll play a key role in identifying emerging risks, supporting fraud prevention efforts, and improving the processes that keep our platform safe for millions of users.\nIf you're detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoy investigating complex cases while making a real impact on customer trust and platform security, we'd love to hear from you\nResponsibilities\nMonitor marketplace transactions and user activity to identify suspicious behavior and potential fraud.\n\nReview and process daily fraud-related tickets, including account unban requests, held transactions, and Know Your Customer (KYC) verification cases.\n\nInvestigate suspicious transactions and account activity, following established procedures and escalating complex cases when necessary.\n\nAnalyze transaction data and user behavior to identify unusual patterns and potential fraud risks.\n\nUse existing fraud monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerts to support daily fraud prevention activities.\n\nDocument investigation findings and maintain accurate records of fraud-related cases and decisions.\n\nCollaborate with Fraud Analysts and other internal teams to resolve cases and improve fraud prevention processes.\n\nShare observations and suggest improvements to existing fraud detection workflows and procedures.\n\nRequirements\nSome experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, customer support, payment operations, or a similar analytical or operational role.\n\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to identify unusual patterns or inconsistencies.\n\nBasic analytical skills and confidence working with data, spreadsheets, or reporting tools.\n\nGood problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on available information.\n\nAbility to follow established procedures, manage daily tasks, and escalate issues when needed.\n\nA proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and curiosity about fraud prevention and online marketplaces.\n\nGood communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams.\n\nGood command of English, both written and spoken.\n\nWhat it's like to work at Eneba\nMake an impact by helping scale a unique product and contribute to a growing global gaming marketplace.\n\nOpportunity to participate in Eneba's Stock Options program, subject to eligibility.\n\nAccess to applicable performance-based bonuses and referral programs.\n\nBenefit from a personal learning budget, regular feedback, and clearly defined development and progression opportunities.\n\nTake advantage of paid volunteering opportunities, where eligible.\n\nEnjoy additional paid time off, where included in your engagement terms.\n\nReady to join us?\nWe'd love to learn more about you!
