By supporting the organization in finance and accounting topics, we strive to optimize and improve the current internal processes, leading to the sustainable growth of Eneba.\nOur Accounting team is looking for a Payroll Accountant who will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing for Lithuanian and foreign entities, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations. If you're a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to be part of a fast-growing company, join us at Eneba!\nResponsibilities\nIndependently manage the full payroll cycle for Lithuanian and foreign entities, including salary calculations, overtime, bonuses, vacation pay, sick leave, and other compensation components.\nEnsure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with Lithuanian labor law, tax regulations, and internal company policies.\nPrepare and submit payroll-related tax declarations and reports to state authorities (VMI, SODRA), including GPM, VSD, and PSD contributions.\nMaintain and reconcile payroll accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate general ledger entries related to payroll.\nAdminister employee timesheets, attendance records, and employment documentation in accordance with legal requirements.\nCollaborate closely with the HR team to ensure accurate employee data, handle onboarding/offboarding payroll setup, and manage employment contract changes affecting compensation.\nProvide payroll-related support during internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and reports.\nMonitor changes in Lithuanian labor legislation and tax regulations, ensuring the company's payroll processes remain fully compliant.\nCooperate with third-party payroll providers and tax consultants for foreign entities as needed.\nContribute to the continuous improvement and automation of payroll processes and related internal controls.\nRequirements\nMinimum 2-3 years of professional experience in payroll accounting or payroll administration.\nSolid knowledge of Lithuanian labor law, payroll taxation (GPM, VSD, PSD), and social security regulations.\nExperience with payroll-related reporting to VMI and SODRA.\nProficiency in payroll and/or ERP accounting software (e.g., Navision, SAP, or similar).\nStrong skills in Microsoft Excel for payroll data analysis and reconciliation.\nExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.\nAI proficiency and experience in implementation of tools for process improvements\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight monthly deadlines.\nFluent in Lithuanian and proficient in English (spoken and written).\nA degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.\nNice to have\nExperience processing payroll for multiple entities or international group companies.\nExperience with payroll process automation or system implementation projects.\nWhat its like to work at Eneba\nOpportunity to join our Employee Stock Options program.\nOpportunity to help scale a unique product.\nVarious bonus systems: performance-based, referral, additional paid leave, personal learning budget.\nPaid volunteering opportunities.\nWork location of your choice: office, remote, opportunity to work and travel.\nPersonal and professional growth at an exponential rate supported by well-defined feedback and promotion processes.\n€35,000 - €45,000 a year\nSalary ranges may vary.
