# SCADA Engineer

That is what our SCADA platforms make possible. In this role, you keep those mission-critical systems secure and stable while connecting new assets to them. You also work closely with engineers, OT specialists and business colleagues, share your knowledge, and help others grow. You design, build, configure and maintain SCADA solutions for energy production and flexibility assets. You connect SCADA to automatic generation control (AGC), which adjusts output to match grid needs, and to energy management and distributed energy (EMS and DERMS) platforms. You build and maintain links with battery storage systems, field devices, grid operators and market interfaces. You define and improve interfaces with trading platforms, asset management systems, OT environments and data platforms. You lead design reviews and technical assessments, and you coach fellow SCADA engineers. You investigate major and recurring incidents, find the root cause and make sure the fix lasts.
