This individual will collaborate closely with project management and estimating teams, bridging the gap between project execution and accurate cost forecasting. The Project Engineer will assist in project planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and scheduling to ensure seamless project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEstimating & Budget SupportCollaborate with the Estimating department to prepare detailed project estimates, budgets, and cost analyses.\nContinuously monitor project costs and expenditures, providing real-time feedback to the Senior Project Manager.\nSupport the development and maintenance of cost control systems to track and manage variances.\n\n Project Coordination & PlanningAssist the Senior Project Manager in developing project strategies, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Field Operations) to gather input and align project goals.\nSupport subcontractor selection and coordination, ensuring alignment with project specifications.\n\nScheduling & Timeline ManagementHelp develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software.\nMonitor project milestones, proactively identify schedule risks, and recommend mitigation actions to the Senior Project Manager.\nEnsure timely updates of project deliverables to all relevant stakeholders.\n\nQuality Assurance & ComplianceWork with Quality Control teams to ensure project activities meet industry standards and client requirements.\nAssist in documenting and resolving any quality-related issues.\nVerify that construction practices comply with safety regulations and company policies.\n\n Risk Identification & MitigationSupport the Senior Project Manager in identifying and assessing project risks (technical, financial, and schedule).\nParticipate in developing and maintaining risk mitigation plans, tracking ongoing risk factors, and suggesting corrective actions.\nAid in addressing change orders, scope modifications, and unforeseen challenges.\n\nClient & Stakeholder RelationsCoordinate with clients and other external stakeholders under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager, ensuring clear and consistent communication.\nProvide regular project status updates and gather feedback to maintain positive working relationships.\nAssist with client inquiries, issues, and change requests in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager.\n\nProject Reporting & DocumentationAssist in preparing and distributing project status reports, cost-tracking documents, and performance metrics.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including meeting minutes and action items.\nContribute to project presentations, ensuring data is current and effectively communicated.\n\nContract AdministrationSupport the Senior Project Manager in reviewing and managing project contracts.\nTrack compliance with contract terms and conditions, coordinating with legal and internal teams when needed.\nIdentify and escalate potential contractual disputes or variations promptly.\n\nQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\n6 years of relevant experience in estimating, project coordination, or construction management. \nDemonstrated proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret and manage budgets, estimates, and cost reports.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.\nKnowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and safety standards.\nAbility to travel to project sites as required.\n Enerfab is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
