You will play a crucial role in optimizing production operations, ensuring efficient workflows, and delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.\nPrinciple Responsibilities and Duties\nResponsibility (Execution Duties)\nMonitors applicable reports and observes manufacturing operations to ensure alignment.\nDetermines if production is proceeding according to schedule, analyzes causes for delay, takes corrective action, and suggests adjustments to production schedules.\nUpdate job progress in P6 and adjust production schedules as needed for on-time deliveries.\nAccountability (What They Own)\nAccuracy and feasibility of short-term plans (1-2 weeks).\nCommunicating daily deliverables with assembly and engineering resources.\nAccuracy of data entered into different planning tools, validating via reporting.\nProactively identify situations where a project is not on schedule.\nControl (Decision-Making Scope)\nPrioritization of activities when necessary.\nCoordinate process improvement opportunities.\nSuggesting improvements to assembly/material control/planning processes and reporting.\nInfluence (Key Partnerships)\nPlanning Department - ensure alignment of activities in assembly with the schedules in IMacs/P6.\nAssembly Teams - review project status to ensure daily plans are on track.\nMaterial Control - understand impacts of material delays on the schedules. Coordinate equipment moves in and out of bays.\nPaint/Testing - assist with prioritizing bottlenecks.\nEngineering - coordinate walkdowns and other milestones to be completed.\nQualifications\n2-4 years of experience in a planning-related role within a manufacturing environment. Experience with gas compression and gas processing skidded packages is a plus.\nStrong influencer with the ability to indirectly lead people.\nStrong planning, time management, multitasking and organization skills.\nProficient with scheduling and planning tools such as SAP, Primavera P6, & Excel\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nMust be dependable, highly motivated, self-directed, have attention to detail, and great organizational skills with minimum amount of daily direct supervision.\n*Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
