As a Project Manager within our Electric Power team, you will lead the successful execution of power generation projects for utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), industrial facilities, mining operations, and other critical infrastructure clients.\nWorking with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations, you will help manage projects from contract award through fabrication, testing, delivery, and commissioning. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, coordinate project activities, monitor schedules and budgets, and help resolve issues to keep projects progressing successfully.\nThis role is well suited to someone with strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. Experience with power generation systems or modular fabrication is considered an asset but is not required\nResponsibilities and Duties\nManage assigned power generation equipment projects from contract award through fabrication, testing, delivery, and commissioning.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, deliverables, and key milestones.\nCoordinate activities across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.\nMonitor project progress and follow up with internal teams to ensure commitments and deadlines are achieved.\nIdentify project issues and risks and work with the appropriate team members to develop solutions.\nServe as a key point of contact for customers throughout project execution.\nMaintain regular customer communication and provide project status and progress updates.\nCoordinate customer meetings, site visits, and project reviews as required.\nSupport contract reviews, scope clarification, risk assessments, and change management activities.\nAssist with documenting and communicating project scope changes.\nMonitor project budgets, schedules, costs, forecasts, and overall project performance.\nTrack project risks, actions, decisions, and outstanding items.\nCoordinate multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.\nEnsure project documentation and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.\nEscalate significant project risks, commercial issues, or schedule concerns as appropriate. \nCoordinate project activities within the fabrication and manufacturing environment.\nMonitor production milestones, procurement requirements, quality requirements, and customer commitments.\nWork closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to help resolve issues affecting project schedule, cost, quality, or delivery.\nSupport factory testing and project delivery activities as required. \nCoordinate multidisciplinary project teams to maintain alignment on project priorities, responsibilities, and deliverables.\nFacilitate regular project meetings and follow up on actions and commitments.\nPromote open communication and collaboration across project teams.\nParticipate in project lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.\nDrive lessons learned, process improvements, and best practices that enhance project delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.\nQualifications\nRequired Experience\n5+ years of project management experience in power generation, industrial equipment manufacturing, fabrication, EPC, or heavy industrial environments.\nExperience managing engineered to order equipment or custom manufacturing projects.\nStrong understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain processes.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP Certification\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, Word, OneNote, Teams, Excel.\nKnowledge of project controls principles and methodologies (WBS, EVM, critical path analysis, etc.).\nAbout Us:\nTransforming Energy for a Sustainable Future.
