This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate forecasts, insightful analysis, and streamlined reporting processes. As a key contributor to the FP&A team, you will collaborate across departments, across regions, support strategic decision-making, and help drive financial performance.\nThis role is based out of our Downtown Calgary office.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nCoordinate with regional finance teams to collect, review, and consolidate budget and forecast submissions\nPrepare and manage the Corporate function’s budget and forecast, ensuring alignment with overall financial targets\nValidate accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial data across regions and functions\nDevelop and deliver management reporting packages that highlight key variances, trends, and insights\nEnsure data integrity and consistency across the consolidation and planning system\nTroubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure consistency across planning systems and reporting outputs\nLead the annual budgeting process, including timeline management, data consolidation, and stakeholder engagement\nMaintain and enhance financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and scenario planning\nAssist in the development of Board and Audit Committee materials under the guidance of the Manager, Internal Reporting and FP&A.\nProvide financial insights and recommendations to business partners to support operational and strategic initiatives\nQualifications\nProfessional Accounting Designation (CPA or equivalent), MBA or a CFA preferred\n6+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting\nStrong understanding of multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency environments\nAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with planning systems (BPC, SAC, One Stream etc.)\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines\nHighly analytical with strong business acumen and attention to detail\nDemonstrated leadership skills with experience guiding teams, fostering collaboration, and driving accountability in a fast-paced financial environment\nAbout Us:\nTransforming Energy for a Sustainable Future.
