This role will coordinate collaboration with the company’s tax advisors and external auditors. You will also partner with the Director of SEC Reporting to research and resolve GAAP accounting issues and record complex transactions. The ideal candidate will bring prior accounting experience in a fast-growing organization.\nYour Mission:\nAssist Director of Finance & Accounting in monthly GL close and consolidation of parent and subsidiaries.\nPrepare monthly financial statements and be responsible for GL maintenance for subsidiary.\nCoordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.\nResearch accounting issues and recommend GAAP compliant accounting treatments for acquisitions, debt financing, equity investments, and other complex transactions.\nPrepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.\nManage accounts payable and payment calendar.\nCoordinate with Project Delivery and Project Accounting teams on project costs tracking.\nSupport state and local taxes remittance and forecast.\nCoordinate with Procurement team on purchase order review and status.\nCoordinate with People (HR) team on payroll.\nPrepare weekly pacing report including cash and AP status.\nParticipate in budget planning.\nWork in cross functional capacity to provide accounting support for Engineering, Development, Marketing, Project Delivery, and Sales departments.\nShape a culture of collaboration, innovation, constant improvement, excellence, transparency, open mindedness, humility, integrity, efficiency, joy, compassion, and fulfillment. \nYour Background:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or related.\nCPA preferred.\n6-10 years of experience in accounting including accounting or financial reporting roles with progressive growth in responsibility.\nPublic accounting (audit) and construction/EPC industry experience desired. \nKnowledge of US GAAP.\nRequires Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, strong analytical and technical accounting skills, and ability to work independently to solve problems and manage multiple projects.\nExpertise in Oracle NetSuite is a plus.\nWillingness to travel domestically, up to 10%.\nComfortable thriving in fast-paced, rapid growth
