As we continue expanding across North Ameirca, we're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of technically complex projects throughout the region.\nThis is a senior, field-based role for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership-from technical design reviews through commissioning, optimisation and final client handover.\nWhat you'll be doing\nYou'll lead the technical delivery of projects involving:\n Medium & Low Voltage electrical systems \n Medium and Low Voltage Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) \n Industrial automation and PLC/SCADA systems \n Energy optimisation and industrial process improvements \n Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) \n Commissioning, troubleshooting and client handover \nWorking alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest engineering standards.\nRequirements\nWe're looking for someone with:\n 10+ years' experience delivering heavy industrial engineering projects \n A background in Electrical Engineering, Automation or Mechatronics \n Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, switchgear and Variable Frequency Drives \n Experience with industrial automation platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider or ABB \n Commissioning and troubleshooting experience within live industrial environments \n Professional fluency in English \n Willingness to travel across North America (mainly mid-west)\nExperience within steel, mining, manufacturing, utilities, process industries or other heavy industrial environments would be highly advantageous.\nBenefits\nAt Energy Drive Systems, you'll work on challenging industrial projects that deliver measurable improvements in energy efficiency and operational performance.
