This approach reduces risk and enhances efficiencies making us a leading and trusted partner every step of the way.\nThe Role and Responsibilities\nDue to continued growth and demand, EnerMech are expanding our existing team with the addition of a Business Development Manager. This is a permanent role, reporting to the Business Development Director and will support our Infrastructure and Industrial Business Line for the Europe region.\nOur IIS business delivers specialist engineered solutions for land-based energy and industrial developments across the full asset life-cycle. From pre-commissioning and commissioning to operations, maintenance, and shutdowns.\nWe are open to this being a remote role with the successful candidate being based anywhere in the UK, with the understanding that some travelling will be required - workload dependant.\nThe role will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and securing profitable commercial opportunities for EnerMech whilst strategically positioning EnerMech as the trusted partner for leading customers in the industry.\nMain duties of the role will include;\nLead customer identification and engagement to win new business opportunities aligned with the corporate strategy, agreed business plan(s) and the Business Forecasting Tools (BFTs)\nDevelop a reliable and visible pipeline of project opportunities (sales funnel) across the full BD life-cycle (customer ‘mapping', lead generation, opportunity qualification, opportunity pursuit and capture as well as on-going account management and forecasting)\nProvide input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions with direct input into and business development leadership of bids\nRepresent EnerMech to customers, partners and to the wider market at industry events, through thought leadership and via external strategic marketing campaigns\nHarness and champion multiple areas of EnerMech's capability (technical or geographic) to achieve better outcomes (cross selling)\nBe actively involved in work winning throughout the entire bid process (identification to award and including post award) and in particular be involved in the win strategy for any bid as required through the provision of critical input\nThe Requirements\nTo be successful in the role you will have an excellent understanding of the industrial services and engineering industry with particular experience of the energy and infrastructure sectors.
