This approach reduces risk and enhances efficiencies making us a leading and trusted partner every step of the way.\nThe Role\nJob Purpose\nAs a Collection Associate in the Oil & Gas sector, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of payments from clients. This role supports the financial health of the organization by maintaining cash flow, resolving disputes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline the O2C process.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMonitor and manage customer accounts to identify overdue payments.\nInitiate contact with clients via phone, email, or portal to follow up on outstanding invoices.\nInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and unapplied cash.\nNegotiate payment plans and settlements in line with company policies.\nPerform cash reconciliations and follow up on missing remittances.\nMaintain accurate records of collection activities and account statuses.\nPrepare reports on aging analysis, bad debt provisioning, and collection performance.\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, SOX regulations, and industry standards.\nCollaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues impacting collections.\nThe Requirements\nQualifications:\nBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.\nExperience in collections or accounts receivable, preferably in the Oil & Gas or energy sector.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems Navision, Oracle and financial reporting tools.\nStrong understanding of the Order to Cash cycle and industry-specific billing practices.\nSkills Required:\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills.\nHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nProficiency in MS Excel and other Office tools.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a global team.\nKnowledge of regulatory compliance related to collections and financial reporting.\nDiversity & Inclusion\nEnerMech is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive organisation.
