As a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will provide strategic financial insight, drive strong governance and compliance, and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely reporting.\nYou will lead and develop a high-performing finance team, champion process improvement and automation initiatives, and help create scalable, efficient ways of working. This role offers the chance to influence business decisions, strengthen financial controls, and make a lasting impact across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn the monthly, quarterly and year-end close for the geography, aligned with the Group timetable; coordinate business, Project Accounting and SSC teams (AP, O2C and R2R) to deliver complete and accurate results. \nReview monthly financial performance, including revenue, margin, operating costs, balance sheet and cash flow; investigate material variances and provide clear commentary and actions to management. \nSupport the annual budget, strategic planning and periodic forecasting processes, challenging assumptions and ensuring alignment between operational plans and financial outcomes. \nReview and approve balance sheet reconciliations and journals in line with delegated authority; ensure aged, unsupported or unreconciled items are resolved promptly. \nEstablish and maintain the reconciliation framework with Group Finance, including account risk assessment, ownership, frequency, methodology and escalation requirements. \nMonitor accounting classifications, cost coding, accruals, provisions, revenue recognition and other key accounting judgements to ensure compliance with Group policy and applicable standards. \nLead preparation and coordination of statutory financial statements, external audits and regulatory filings for the geography, working with Group Finance and external advisers as required. \nCoordinate tax compliance and tax accounting requirements, including forecasting tax liabilities and supporting corporate, indirect, payroll and other local tax matters with specialist advisers and Group Tax. \nManage the finance control environment, including control testing, remediation, policy compliance and delivery of training where required. \nAct as an escalation and approval point for core finance activities, including FX revaluation, non-PO invoices, credit notes, vendor reconciliations, account clearing and payments, in accordance with authority levels and segregation-of-duties requirements. \nPartner with Treasury and the business on cash management, customer collections, vendor payment planning, liquidity forecasting and working-capital improvement. \nSupport CAPEX governance, including financial evaluation, approval support, tracking of spend and post-investment review, where appropriate. \nIdentify, assess and escalate financial risks, including currency, credit, liquidity, political, operational and compliance risks, and coordinate appropriate mitigation actions. \nProvide technical accounting guidance and support the assessment and implementation of new or revised accounting policies and standards, escalating complex matters to Group Finance where appropriate. \nMaintain complete, audit-ready documentation for statutory audits, government inspections, regulatory submissions and other legal or compliance requirements. \nAgree service governance, performance expectations and ways of working with the SSC; review service quality, resolve escalations and drive measurable process improvements. \nSupport ERP, reporting and finance-transformation initiatives, including requirements definition, testing, implementation, control design and adoption. \nBuild effective relationships with operational leaders and central functions, providing timely financial advice and ensuring finance issues are resolved at the appropriate level. \nRequirements\nProfessional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent). \nSubstantial post-qualification experience in financial control, reporting or a comparable senior finance role, ideally within a multi-entity or international organisation. \nDemonstrated ownership of month-end close, balance sheet control, statutory reporting, audit and internal controls. \nExperience leading and developing a finance team and working effectively with shared-service or outsourced finance teams. \nWorking knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital, tax coordination and financial risk management. \nStrong ERP and financial reporting systems experience; experience supporting systems or finance-transformation initiatives is desirable. \nAdvanced Microsoft Excel capability; Power BI or comparable data-visualisation/reporting experience is desirable. \nBenefits\nAt EnerMech, you'll join a global organisation where innovation, collaboration and technical excellence drive everything we do.
