In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe, compliant and high-performing construction environment, working closely with project management, site teams, contractors and other stakeholders. The work will start as soon as possible.\nMain tasks and responsibilities:\nEnsure that project activities are carried out in accordance with the established HSE management system and project-specific requirements\nDevelop, implement and maintain Construction Stage Health & Safety Plans throughout the project lifecycle\nProvide regular updates to senior management on HSE performance, key initiatives, risks and areas for improvement\nEnsure full compliance with applicable Health & Safety and environmental legislation, regulations and statutory requirements\nImplement and maintain project-specific Environmental, Health & Safety plans and procedures\nReview and support the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Action (SPA) and permit-to-work documentation\nMonitor implementation of the Project Execution Plan and ensure that relevant HSE requirements are followed\nPromote a strong and proactive safety culture across the project, site teams and subcontractor organisations\nCoordinate hazardous substance assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are identified and implemented\nMonitor safety observations, interventions and corrective actions, ensuring they are properly documented and closed out\nCarry out regular HSE inspections and audits, record findings and follow up on required actions\nIdentify potential HSE risks at an early stage and support the implementation of effective preventive and corrective measures\nMonitor subcontractor compliance with project HSE requirements and ensure that relevant policies and procedures are followed\nCoordinate site HSE inductions, training and awareness activities for employees and subcontractors\nLead and support accident and incident investigations\nRequirements:\nDegree or relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related field\nStrong understanding of applicable Health & Safety and environmental legislation and regulatory requirements\nMinimum 5 years of experience in an similar role, preferably on large-scale construction projects\nPrevious experience within data centre construction is highly advantageous\nDemonstrated ability to manage HSE activities within a complex construction site environment\nStrong leadership, communication and organisational skills\nAbility to work independently, take initiative and collaborate effectively with project teams, contractors and subcontractors\nFlexible and adaptable approach to changing project requirements and priorities\nStrong commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental performance\nEnglish language skills\nWe follow pay transparency principles and the salary level and the criteria used to determine it will be communicated to candidates before the interview.\nDue to GDPR regulations, applications will only be accepted through our official application system.\nWe manage this recruitment process internally and therefore do not require support from external recruitment agencies.\nIf you have any questions, please contact: Sanna Uronen, HR Coordinator, +358 40 176 5270, \nAbout us:\nWe are Enersense’s Expert Services team.
