Through innovative technology and ongoing training, we invest in our employees’ skills and career development.\nAt EAS, we don’t just build batteries - we power systems and devices that protect not only individual citizens but communities across the world.\nIf you’re excited about working in an innovative, fast-paced, high-tech environment, where your contributions make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!\nCompensation Range: $17.00-$18.00 per hour\nLearn More About EAS\nJob Purpose\nThe Assembler at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and manufacture of advanced power solutions, will be responsible for assembling electronics components accurately according to specifications and quality requirements.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform basic manual assembly with little or no special tools.\nAssemble batteries, chargers and accessories following supervisor’s directions and work instructions.\nIncludes applying tape, heat shrink sleeve, hot melt glue cells, stripping wires, applying tie wraps.\nAssist in applying labels to shipping boxes and/or pack products.\nMaintain assigned safety equipment.\nMaintain daily production quantity records.\nReport anomalies and damaged equipment.\nConsistently assemble daily expected quantities.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma\n1+ Experience in Assembling or related work\nGood Hand/Eye Coordination for handling and assembling parts with precision.\nAble to work in the production floor and comfortable to encounter electrical and mechanical components.\nGeneral Job Requirements\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.\nMust be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.\nMust be able to stand for long periods of time\nEmployees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.\nThis position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment.
