This position follows established work instructions, engineering specifications, and quality standards to complete both basic and complex assemblies. The role supports production operations through product assembly, end-of-line testing, equipment setup, troubleshooting, inventory accuracy, and quality verification activities. The incumbent must accurately record production data, utilize hand tools and measurement devices, and work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nOperate hand tools, calibrated tools, and assembly equipment to manufacture lithium battery products in accordance with approved work instructions and quality standards.\nBuild, wire, and assemble lithium battery cells, modules, and packs according to engineering specifications and production requirements.\nAccurately record and maintain End-of-Line (EOL) testing data, inspection records, and production documentation.\nPerform charge cycler testing and monitor product performance against established requirements.\nConduct visual quality inspections and electrical End-of-Line testing using designated test equipment and procedures.\nRun internal wiring, apply thermal interface materials, and connect critical electronic components, including Battery Management System (BMS) components.\nPerform equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments as required to support production schedules.\nComplete cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.\nEnter manufacturing, inventory, and quality inspection data accurately into SAP and other production systems.\nFollow all documented work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality requirements.\nPerform basic troubleshooting related to product assembly, electrical components, equipment operation, external construction, and internal product programming.\nParticipate in cross-training initiatives to support operational flexibility and departmental needs.\nSupport EOS, EHS, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nComply with all company safety policies and pro\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.\nMinimum two (2) years of manufacturing experience in electronics assembly, mechanical assembly, battery assembly, or a related manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated computer skills\nAbility to accurately enter production, inventory, and quality data into SAP or similar manufacturing systems.\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations.\nAbility to use and interpret measurement tools, including calibrated torque devices, calipers, multimeters, and other assembly equipment.\nUnderstanding of mechanical and electrical aptitude.\nBasic understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs), mechanical drawings, electrical prints, wiring schematics, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nAbility to read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, work instructions, quality specifications, and manufacturing procedures.\nMinimum one (1) year of Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) operating experience with the ability to obtain and maintain company-required PIV certification, including operation of pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up conveyances.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, verify alignment, and maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.\nAbility to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of SAP.\nBasic understanding of UL labeling requirements.\nAbility to meet certification standards for Prismatic Lithium-Ion production processes.\nPrevious experience in lithium battery manufacturing or a related high-tech manufacturing environment.\nExperience performing electrical testing and quality inspections in a manufacturing setting.\nGeneral Job Requirements\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.\nMust be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.\nMust be able to stand for long periods of time\nEmployees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.\nMust be able and willing to wear a respirator.\nThis position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.\nThis position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment.
