Success in this role requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nRequired Education and Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nDemonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance systems.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.\nStrong troubleshooting and repair skills for electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.\nWillingness to work overtime and flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\nAbility to safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier loads require mechanical assistance or team lifting.\nAbility to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.\nQualifications\nPreferred Education and Qualifications:\nBasic knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, electrical systems, HVAC, electronics, welding, and machining is preferred. Ability to apply these skills to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install production equipment and facility systems. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, interpreting technical drawings and schematics, and safely operating maintenance tools and equipment is highly desirable.\nCore Competencies:\nTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to maximize reliability and uptime.\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance using safe work practices and established procedures.\nInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, machinery, plumbing systems, HVAC equipment, and facility infrastructure.\nApply sound mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.\nCoordinate effectively with production personnel, contractors, and subcontractors to complete maintenance projects.\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company policies and industry standards.\nWork independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to changing production and maintenance needs.\nGeneral Job Requirements\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.\nMust be able and willing to be on-call.\nThis position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment.
