This role works closely with operations and engineering teams in a highly technical, fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate excels in hands-on work, technical problem-solving, and collaboration across multifunctional teams.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform soldering, assembly, testing, and inspection of prototypes and released products\nAssist in creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), test procedures, and safety procedures\nConduct troubleshooting, root-cause identification, rework, and repair\nPerform basic troubleshooting of PCBAs and complex troubleshooting of electromechanical assemblies\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes\nCommunicate clearly and respectfully to achieve team objectives\nMaintain clean, organized workspaces and follow AS9100 traceability requirements\nConduct equipment calibration as needed\nCoordinate tasks with peers and provide training when required\nFollow verbal instructions effectively and work both independently and collaboratively\nComplete assignments with minimal need for repair or rework and deliver work on time\nQualifications\nAssociate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience\nExpert knowledge of IPC-610 soldering standards and practices\nStrong electromechanical troubleshooting skills\nBasic troubleshooting of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) / Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)\nAbility to read and understand schematics\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nSound decision-making skills\nAuthorization to work in the United States\nDesired Qualifications:\nActive IPC-610 or IPC-620 certification\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite\nExperience using diagnostic and lab equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, data loggers, thermal chambers, and microscopes\nGeneral Job Requirements\nThis position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead.
