Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.\nJob Purpose\nThe Shipping & Receiving Operator coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily; prepares transport documents for out of country shipments.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nCoordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents\nPrepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments. Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained n an orderly file.\nAccurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP.\nCreates plan shipment documents\nProvides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.\nMust be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center\nAbility to use computer systems including MRP and MS office\nAbility to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools\nGeneral Job Requirements\nThis position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.\nThis position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements.
