As a result of our continuing growth, we require a seasoned PLANT CONTROLLER/ACCOUNTANT.\nJob Purpose\nAlpha Technologies Services Inc.'s Suwanee/Norcross, Georgia, office seeks a Plant Controller/Accountant to be responsible for directing the financial activities of the plant in compliance with Corporate policies and Accounting guidelines. Will provide data and input to guide management in making strategic financial and operational decisions as well as establish and monitor internal controls in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Corporate guidelines and financial audits. This is a top on-site accounting position with matrix reporting to the Plant Manager and to the Americas Accounting Department.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDuties include:\nProviding management with accurate financial information to measure and guide plant operations.\nUsing data and reporting tools to suggest strategies to minimize costs, improving departmental productivity and plant efficiency.\nCollaborating with and presenting information to managers and corporate executives in different business units.\nIssuing plant financial statements, overseeing closing of the books on a monthly basis and annual basis, and conducting analysis to explain variance against forecast.\nOverseeing general ledger activities including payroll, expense, account reconciliation and variance analysis.\nOverseeing and preparing the annual plant budget as well as monthly forecasts. \nThis is a hybrid office/work-from-home position within the United States, but the employee must live within commuting distance of the office in Suwanee/Norcross, Georgia.\nQualifications\nMust have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a directly related field plus four (4) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.\nExperience must include two (2) years working with:\nConducting variance & trend analysis to identify and explain variations against forecast.\nManufacturing accounting.\nIntercompany accounting.\nWorking cross-functionally.\nWorking with non-U.S. based subsidiaries.\nPerforming reporting & analysis utilizing Syteline, SAP and HFM.\nData analytics and drawing concise insights from large sets of data.\nSupporting internal & external audits.\nExperience can be concurrent.\nGeneral Job Requirements\nThis position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.\nFooter\nThis is a hybrid office/work-from-home position within the United States, but the employee must live within commuting distance of the office in Suwanee/Norcross, Georgia.\nApply at https://jobs.enersys.com\nAlpha provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
