The successful candidate will have expertise in power electronics, battery protection systems, embedded controls, and military standards compliance.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign and develop electrical circuits for batteries, chargers, and rechargeable battery systems.\nCreate detailed electrical schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.\nDesign and integrate battery monitoring and protection systems.\nPerform system analysis related to electrical performance, thermal management, EMI, and reliability.\nUse engineering tools for simulation, modeling, and analysis of electrical designs.\nSupport environmental and electrical qualification testing in accordance with military and defense standards.\nWork closely with mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing teams throughout the development cycle.\nParticipate in technical reviews and risk assessments for new products.\nProvide technical support to Sales and Marketing for bids and proposals.\nPrepare clear documentation for testing, production, and customer requirements.\nProvide technical guidance on complex engineering initiatives.\nSupport development of engineering standards and best practices.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.\n10+ years of experience in electrical design, power systems, or defense-related products.\nStrong knowledge of lithium-ion and similar battery technologies, including system safety and protection designs.\nExperience with battery systems, power electronics, and low-EMI circuit design.\nProficiency with electrical design software tools.\nExperience integrating electronics with microcontrollers and communication protocols such as CAN or serial communications.\nHands-on
