This role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant processes and infrastructure, while driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nLead and develop the Maintenance and Facilities teams to ensure efficient operation and upkeep of equipment and facilities\nDirect the Process Engineering group in optimizing and improving manufacturing processes across multiple battery product lines\nOversee plant safety initiatives related to equipment and processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory and company standards\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and production throughput\nPlan and execute facility layout changes to support growth, scalability, and capacity expansion\nCollaborate with Manufacturing to analyze and optimize utilization, performance, and process metrics\nPartner with cross-functional teams, including Program Management, to strengthen change control processes and improve customer satisfaction\nSupport long-term strategies for equipment upgrades, automation, and capital investments\nProvide full supervisory leadership, including hiring, training, performance management, and issue resolution\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in equipment maintenance, plant operations, or process engineering\nStrong knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment\nExperience with process metrics, facility layout planning, and continuous improvement methodologies\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in defense or battery manufacturing\nFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies\nProject management experience with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives\nSix Sigma Green Belt certification; Black Belt preferred\nOther Requirements\nProficiency in English\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn legacy applications\nMinimal travel required\nGeneral Job Requirements\nThis position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment.
