This role ensures timely and accurate procurement execution, supplier oversight, and material availability while achieving cost, quality, and performance targets.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nRequired Education and Qualifications:\n Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\n3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management.\n\nExperience managing purchase orders, requisitions, supplier communications, and order status.\n\nExperience sourcing and purchasing components, raw materials, equipment, tools, or other technical products.\n\nStrong understanding of supplier evaluation, negotiation, pricing, delivery, quality, and performance management.\n\nAbility to review technical specifications, drawings, statements of work, and other purchasing requirements to ensure order accuracy.\n\nExperience managing multiple suppliers and competing procurement priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProficiency with ERP/MRP systems, purchasing systems, or other procurement software.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nStrong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Production, and Project Management teams.\n\nQualifications\nPreferred Education and Qualifications:\nExperience supporting federally funded projects, DOE grants, government contracts, or other regulated programs.\n\nExperience in specialized manufacturing, aerospace, defense, energy, or other highly technical industries.\n\nExperience procuring engineering materials, specialized equipment, tools, components, or long-lead items.\n\nFamiliarity with DOE procurement requirements, federal grant compliance, or government contracting requirements.\n\nExperience with supplier qualification, onboarding, performance evaluation, and risk management.\n\nExperience developing alternate sources and supporting strategic sourcing or make/buy analyses.\n\nExperience with cost reduction initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract alignment.\n\nFamiliarity with inventory planning, production scheduling, MRP, and materials requirements.\n\nExperience with invoice reconciliation and procurement expenditure tracking.\n\nExperience supporting audit readiness and procurement documentation for government, customer, or compliance reviews.\n\nKnowledge of procurement metrics,
