Activities are focused around assuring product is compliant and customer expectations are met.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nServe as an objective technical liaison between the company and customers regarding quality requirements, expectations, and concerns, with support from QE II or the Quality Manager.\nCoordinate and support First Article Inspections (FAI), customer inspections, and government source inspections.\nDevelop and implement product and process quality plans to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.\nEstablish and maintain appropriate controls for production equipment and devices that directly impact product quality.\nEvaluate and approve changes to products, manufacturing processes, and materials for quality and risk considerations.\nReview engineering drawings, including GD&T, and process instructions for accuracy, completeness, manufacturability, and potential quality risks.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve in-process quality issues in collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams.\nMonitor product and process performance to identify trends, prevent nonconforming material, and drive continuous improvement opportunities.\nSupport internal and external quality and process audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up activities\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications and Education:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in Quality (ASQ certifications are a plus). \nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.\nProficiency with standard measuring and inspection equipment.\nBasic understanding of statistics and statistical analysis.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to interpret and communicate technical requirements, specifications, and procedures.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nASQ certification (CQE, CQA, or related certification) preferred.\nExperience working within an AS9100 Quality Management System.\nExperience in an aerospace, manufacturing, or other highly regulated environment.\nFamiliarity with quality tools, inspection methods, and process improvement practices.\nExperience coordinating quality activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.\nCore Competencies:\nCommunication: Clearly communicate technical requirements, quality expectations, and procedures to internal and external stakeholders.\nCollaboration: Effectively interact and collaborate with coworkers and cross-functional teams.\nExecution: Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and execute tasks accurately and efficiently.\nResource Coordination: Coordinate resources and activities to meet quality and project objectives.\nTime & Milestone Management: Ability to work effectively in a time-based, milestone-driven product development environment.\nProblem Solving: Identify issues, evaluate risks, and support effective resolution of quality and process concerns.\nAttention to Detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy when reviewing quality requirements, measurements, documentation, and processes.\nQuality Mindset: Demonstrate a commitment to product quality, continuous improvement, and compliance with applicable requirements.\nGeneral Job Requirements\nGeneric\nThis position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment.
