Job Purpose
EnerSys is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead daily quality operations, supervise Quality Inspectors, drive continuous improvement, and partner with Operations to ensure products meet customer and company requirements. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about manufacturing quality, problem solving, and team development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Quality Inspectors.
- Monitor quality metrics and drive improvements in yield, scrap reduction, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct product, process, and system audits.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Analyze quality data and report results to leadership.
- Maintain quality documentation and records.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve quality and efficiency.
- Participate in Lean and continuous improvement activities.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two or more years of manufacturing, quality, or industrial experience.
- Experience with problem-solving and corrective action methods.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
- Minimum 1-3 years previous supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
- Experience leading teams or supervising employees.
- Experience in metal fabrication, welding, or industrial manufacturing.
- SAP or ERP system experience.
- Lean Manufacturing, ISO-9001 and continuous improvement knowledge.
