With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.\nJob Purpose\nThe Quality Assurance Technician supports manufacturing operations by performing inspections, verifying product conformance to engineering requirements, investigating quality issues, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements, proficiency with precision measuring equipment, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse workforce, including production, engineering, and management teams, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to support departmental priorities, and business needs to help achieve quality, operational, and company objectives.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions.\nUtilize measurement equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and CMM.\nConduct root cause investigations and support corrective actions.\nMaintain inspection and quality records.\nSupport containment, MRB, and nonconforming material processes.\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures and promote a safe working environment.\nReport safety concerns, hazards, and near misses promptly.\nDemonstrate flexibility and a willingness to support departmental priorities and business needs as directed by the Quality Engineering and Management teams.\nAdapt to changing priorities, workloads, and assignments to support production requirements, customer expectations, continuous improvement initiatives, and company objectives.\nStrong verbal communication skills to interact with production personnel, engineering, management, and other departments.\nAbility to clearly document inspection results, nonconformances, and quality records\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.\n2+ years of manufacturing quality inspection experience.\nStrong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.\nProficient in GD&T interpretation.
