This individual will serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner, helping business leaders identify, attract, and hire the talent needed to support continued growth across our aerospace, defense, medical, and advanced energy markets.\nThe ideal candidate is a proactive talent hunter with a strong track record of sourcing and engaging highly sought-after passive candidates in competitive talent markets. Working closely with hiring managers and leadership teams, this role will develop targeted recruiting strategies, build robust talent pipelines, and provide market intelligence that drives informed hiring decisions.\nUnlike traditional recruiting roles, this position requires regular travel to PPS locations to gain firsthand knowledge of the business, technologies, products, and workforce needs. recruitment for highly specialized engineering, technical, manufacturing, operations, and leadership positions across PPS.\nBuild and maintain proactive talent pipelines focused on aerospace, defense, power systems, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technology sectors.\nActively source and engage passive candidates through direct recruiting, networking, referrals, industry associations, military networks, conferences, and targeted market research.\nPartner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand current and future workforce needs and develop talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.\nTravel throughout PPS locations to develop a thorough understanding of operational environments, technical requirements, and organizational priorities.\nEstablish credibility with engineering and technical leaders by developing a deep understanding of PPS products, technologies, and customer applications.\nProvide market intelligence regarding talent availability, compensation trends, competitor activity, and workforce planning opportunities.\nSupport recruitment efforts in compliance with applicable government contractor requirements, employment regulations, and company policies.\nDevelop innovative sourcing strategies that reduce reliance on external search firms while improving candidate quality and time-to-fill.\nRepresent PPS and EnerSys at industry events, military transition programs, technical conferences, job fairs, and targeted networking opportunities.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of progressive technical recruiting experience.\nDemonstrated success recruiting engineering and technical talent in complex industries.\nStrong direct sourcing and headhunting capabilities.\nExperience partnering with senior leaders and technical hiring teams.\nAbility to travel regularly across PPS locations.\nExcellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience recruiting within Aerospace & Defense, Government Contracting, Energy Storage, Advanced Manufacturing, Electronics, Power Systems, or other highly regulated technical industries.\nExperience supporting security-cleared or clearance-eligible talent.\nFamiliarity with ITAR, government contracting, and defense industry recruiting practices.\nMilitary recruiting experience and established veteran talent networks.\nStrong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, talent intelligence tools, and advanced sourcing methodologies.\nThe
