With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.\nJob Purpose\nThe Systems Administrator II is responsible for the support, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and endpoint systems. This role focuses on ensuring system availability, performance, and security through execution of operational tasks, troubleshooting, and adherence to established standards.\nThe position works closely with senior administrators and IT leadership to support infrastructure initiatives while providing reliable support to the business and user community.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAdminister and support Windows-based server and infrastructure environments, including physical and virtual systems\nCreate and maintain user accounts, access controls, and security privileges in Microsoft Active Directory environments\nSupport system backup and recovery processes to ensure availability and integrity of critical systems\nMonitor system performance, availability, and alerts; troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues\nSupport virtualization environments (e.g., VMware), including routine maintenance and operational support\nMaintain and support enterprise email systems, including mailbox administration and distribution lists\nSupport endpoint systems, mobile devices, and associated management technologies\nAssist in maintaining infrastructure security tools and controls in coordination with IT/OT Security (e.g., endpoint protection, system hardening)\nProvide second-level support for help desk and end-user issues, including escalation resolution\nAssist with system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities\nDocument system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps\nSupport infrastructure projects and deployments under direction of senior administrators or management\nFollow established IT standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance\nSupport audit, compliance, and documentation requirements\nParticipate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required \nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\nEducation and Experience\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience\n3 to 5 years of experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure support\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments\nExperience with virtualization platforms such as VMware\nFamiliarity with backup, storage, and disaster recovery technologies\nBasic understanding of networking and infrastructure concepts\nFamiliarity with endpoint management and mobile device support\nUnderstanding of IT security best practices and ability to follow established controls\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nAbility to follow processes and work within established standards\nEffective communication skills and ability to work with end users and technical teams\nGeneral Job Requirements\nThis position will work in an office
