With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.\nINCENTIVE OPPORTUNITY\n***$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS!***\nJob Purpose\nTest, troubleshoot and repair products per specified ATPs at established test stations.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nTest/calibrate all products per specified test procedures, achieving required quality targets \nRecord all pass/fail and defect data as required per specified procedures\nOperate ATE and bench fixtures per specified procedures\nSet up and use an extensive variety of digital and analog test equipment and fixtures\nPerform calibration checks on electronic instruments\nComplete paperwork as needed, including test histories, charts, and trend records for various process steps\nObtain parts using proper procedures\nRecognize problems from test procedures and/or test results and make appropriate recommendations\nAssist in the preparation of test procedures as well as quality and productivity improvement activities\nProvide feedback for the disposition of discrepant material\nFormulate solutions involving failure trends\nTroubleshoot and repair electronic systems using schematics and other production material\nPerform assembly analysis using wiring diagrams\nProvide feedback on new processes introduced into production\nEffectively interface with all support groups to resolve production issues\nProvide assistance and training to test operators\nQualifications\nAA/AAS Degree in Electronics/Technician Certificate from an accredited technical source; must include digital electronics and microprocessor training \n1-2 years electronics testing experience\nUnderstanding of logic diagrams and Boolean logic\nAbility to read and follow work instructions and provide feedback for improvement\nAbility to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools, including pallet jacks\nAbility to interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings\nProficiency with oscilloscope, VOM, and other test equipment\nAbility to work both independently and in a team environment \nAbility to prioritize work with minimal supervision\nAbility to communicate effectively with co-workers and management\nDesired Qualifications\nAbility to solder and desolder\nAbility to apply conformal coating material\nEnerSys provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.\nKnow Your Rights\nKnow Your Rights (Spanish)\nWe use artificial intelligence to screen, assess and select applicants for open positions, including for the purposes of reviewing and ranking application materials and scoring answers to application questions.
