Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.\nJob Purpose\nThe Warehouse Associate position exists to provide timely receipt of inbound material, maintain accurate physical storage and records of inventory, deliver goods to the shop floor to meet production schedules, pick orders and load trucks for delivery to customers.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nKnowledge of quality and safety standards, warehouse procedures and company policy.\nFork truck and scissor lift safety and operations.\nProvide supplies, request materials, request support, input into ERP system (via handheld scanner and desktop computer access), communicate with plant leadership (Team Leads, Line leads, Dept. supervisors, etc.).\nMaintain training level as required.\nConduct oneself in a safe and constructive manner to maintain a safe work environment.\nHave a basic knowledge of inbound and outbound paperwork and truck loading and unloading.\nCompletes other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in a warehouse position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center.\nMust be able to utilize e-mail, application databases and current ERP system.\nAbility to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools.\nmust be able to maintain a very high level of accuracy involving the storage and movement of batteries and materials to and from locations. Also, the associate must be able to work alone and with others.\nMust work in a manufacturing floor environment-requiring attention to hearing and lead exposure. This job requires the lifting/pushing/pulling of various products weighing 15 lbs. to 50 lbs. frequently. \nMust have a high level of accuracy in basic math and make use of 10 key calculator.\nKnowledge of the warehouse operations, including but not limited to shop floor supply, current ERP system requirements, pallet preparation requirements, fork truck safety and scissor lift safety and operations, truck loading and unloading.\nGeneral Job Requirements\nThis position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements.
