At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values-they are the pillars of our continued success.\nOverview\nThe Electrical Designer II performs technical activities on assigned projects under supervision of a licensed professional engineer, including participation in technical studies, investigations and designs on assigned projects. The Electrical Designer assists the project team in the production of projects that are on-time, within budget and of the utmost quality. The Electrical Designer's responsibilities include the complete Electrical Design of their assigned project, and/or other project tasks.\nResponsibilities\nDesigns and prepares drawings for electrical systems for building projects including conducting code review, lighting calculations, lighting and receptacle layout, one-line diagrams, branch circuit, feeder, and service calculations, etc., under the supervision of a licensed professional electrical engineer.\nAttends meetings with owners, clients, and/or architects as needed; Prepares and distributes meeting notes.\nConducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions or proposed conditions.\nAssists the design team in the coordination with other discipline including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, civil, etc.\nAccompanies senior level staff/project manager in performing project site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, owner expectations, and building codes.\nAssists in preparing punch lists and project observations reports to note findings.\nActively attends in-house and external training sessions to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas.\nParticipates in industry organizations and attends events, meetings, and activities.\nUpholds TME's owner advocacy philosophy and organizational core values.\nQualifications\nRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications\n2-year Technical Degree or Associates Degree in Electrical-Related Field, or 4 - 5 years of experience as an electrical designer for an engineering or architectural/engineering design firm, or Electrical Program / Course / Classes at a Community College, plus 2-4 years' experience as an electrician working for an Electrical Contractor, or Journeyman Electrician License.\nMust have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Revit, and AutoCAD.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nDetail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.\nWell versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.\nExcellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.\nPreferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.\nExperience with larger commercial projects including healthcare, higher education, laboratory, and central energy plant projects.\nTravel Requirements\n25% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.\nPhysical/Work Environment Requirements\nAscending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.\nClimbing stairs.\nMoving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.\nOperating machinery and/or power tools.\nOutdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.\nNoisy environment.\nLight to heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects from 20-100 pounds.\nPay Range\nUSD $27.92 - USD $37.29 /Hr.ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
