At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values-they are the pillars of our continued success.\nOverview\nThe Engineering Design Manager is responsible for the design production throughout the life cycle of a project from development handoff to construction closeout. This position ensures that the project is delivered efficiently and effectively in accordance with the schedule and energy outcomes while exceeding the client’s expectations. The manager is also responsible for the utilization of the production staff assigned to the project team.\nResponsibilities\nSpecific responsibilities include:\nSupports the day-to-day management of design tasks, ensuring timely progress, accurate documentation, and alignment with project goals.\nGuides and assigns tasks to junior staff, monitors performance, and provides mentorship to support team development and efficiency.\nEnsures adherence to design standards and safety protocols while helping implement process updates and conducting initial quality checks.\nAssists in tracking labor hours and budgets, reviews time entries for accuracy, and contributes to resource planning.\nFacilitates clear communication between staff, project managers, and leadership, and supports client interactions under supervision.\nParticipates in team activities, promotes a positive culture, and handles additional responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.\n5+ years of design related experience with mechanical, electrical, building automation systems, programming, or building operation management experience.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong leadership skills.\nAttention to safety.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nProficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCad software packages.\nPreferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications\nEngineering Intern (EI) certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.\nPMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.\nTravel Requirements\n25% of the time will be spent traveling to the job site(s)/office locations.\nPhysical/Work Environment Requirements\nPhysical Activities\nClimbing stairs.\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers\nRemaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, polesSite survey activities at project sites\nEnvironmental Conditions\nQuiet environments\nOutdoor elements such as precipitation and wind Noisy environments\nPhysical Demands\nMedium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds\nPay Range\nUSD $118,625.00 - USD $152,660.00 /Yr.ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
