At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values-they are the pillars of our continued success.\nOverview\nThe Project Accountant is responsible for overseeing accounting for projects including maintenance of the general ledger and the month-end close process. They work closely with the Program Management team in areas including budget and forecast preparation, project financial analysis, and development of internal control policies and procedures.\nResponsibilities\nPerforms daily and monthly accounting processes including journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger transactions.\n\nPrepares monthly client invoicing in coordination with the Program Management team.\n\nEnters subcontractor accounts payable invoices and manage needed cash disbursements.\n\nAssists in the preparation and analysis of financial information in accordance with GAAP.\n\nPrepares routine financial reports and ad-hoc reports for operational review and decision making.\n\nProvides analysis and recommendations to senior leadership by analyzing project financial performance, analyzing budget variances, and ensuring compliance.\n\nAssists with submission of information and necessary communication with internal and external auditors and respond appropriately to auditor comments and recommendations.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.\n\n3+ years of accounting experience.\n\nIntermediate level skills in Adobe, Excel and other MS Office tools.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\n\nDetail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.\n\nVersed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.\n\nAbility to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.\n\nPreferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications\nExperience with mid-large size engineering/construction organization.\n\nCPA license.\n\nStrong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP.\n\nAbility to work well under pressure and within short deadlines.\n\nHigh-level analytic skills.\n\nTravel Requirements\n0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.\nPhysical/Work Environment Requirements\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nClimbing stairs.\nRemaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.\nQuiet environment.\nLight work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.\nPay Range\nUSD $52,272.00 - USD $69,813.00 /Yr.ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
