At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values, they are the pillars of our continued success.\nOverview\nA Software Engineer II is a mid-level position responsible for executing tasks associated with the technical development and operation of company technology-based products, most of which will directly support Energy as a Service (EaaS) and Integrated Solutions business. This person will work on an agile product development team as an individual contributor and will collaborate with internal and external (consultant) team members. This person should be familiar with the agile development process and will be expected to comply with software development best practices.This position will be part of the Software Development team, and will develop new and innovative systems technologies for collecting, computing, and storing energy and telemetry data, within the Connect platform. This team will leverage modern IoT, data science and machine learning, cloud, and front end user interface technology to produce new innovations and drive industry-wide change within the energy efficiency and optimization industry.\nResponsibilities\nBe an individual contributor on software development team.Work on an agile development team in collaboration with a scrum master, a product owner, and other development team members who may be internal or external to the Company.\nCollaborate with technical and non-technical team members, who may be employed by the Company or external consultants.\nExecute software development tasks\nComplete tasks independently or in a self-directed manner.\n\nComply with policies and procedures for development including standards for testing, quality control, coding, documentation, etc.\nContribute to ongoing maintenance and operation of company technology products.\nHeavily engage with company internal and external customers.Participate in execution of company non-software engineering projects, to gain insight into the use and value of our software products.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience working on a professional software development team.\nA willingness to engage and learn basics of the different fields of EaaS business as needed for development.\nStrong technical and analytical skills.\nGood communication skills, with a willingness to improve.\nAbility to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.\nStrong desire to continually grow and develop professionally.\nProficiency with multiple technologies and languages.\nExperience with agile software development processes.\nProficiency with source code management systems such as Git.\nExperience with software quality control including unit testing.\nExperience with development of single page web applications using the Angular 2+ framework.\nExperience with agile management tools such as Azure DevOps.\nExperience with C#.\nExperience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and other scripting languages.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMS in Computer Science or related field\nExperience developing with Microsoft Azure.\nExperience deploying to critical production environments.\nExperience setting up and deploying code using CI/CD pipelines.\nPhysical Requirements\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nClimbing stairs.\nRemaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.\nRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.\nQuiet environment.\nLight work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.\nTravel Requirements\n25% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.\nENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
